Matthew 25

This year our recipient of the Matthew 25 Award, sponsored by Catholic Charities, is Pierre (Pete) L. Godefroy. This annual celebration has a two‐fold mission, first to recognize those within our parish Faith Communities who have dedicated their time, treasure and talents to benefit the less fortunate through community service projects. Secondly to raise funds to support the Mission of Catholic Charities which is to care for the poor and the vulnerable within our midst.

In addition to the many services Pete renders to the Parish as a member of the Knights of Columbus, he continues to live the Mission of Catholic Charities as a witness to the scriptural values of mercy and justice which enhance the lives of individuals and families and to advocate for a just society. And, this is how he does it…

A Celebration of Faith in Action

A celebration to recognize individuals who put their faith in action through works of charity for the least of Christ’s brothers and sisters.

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, a stranger and you welcomed me. And the king will say to them in reply, ‘Amen I say to you, whatever you did for one of these least of mine, you did for me.“ Matthew 25: 35, 40
