Our heart is filled with Easter joy and we hope in everlasting life that only risen Jesus can give.

1 - Antiphon: Christ is truly risen, alleluia! Glory and power for Him ever and ever. Amen!

Easter hymn:

Exult, let them exult, the hosts of heaven,
exult, let Angel ministers of God exult,
let the trumpet of salvation
sound aloud our mighty King's triumph!

Be glad, let earth be glad, as glory floods her,
ablaze with light from her eternal King,
let all corners of the earth be glad,
knowing an end to gloom and darkness.

Rejoice, let Mother Church also rejoice,
arrayed with the lightning of his glory,
let this holy building shake with joy,
filled with the mighty voices of the peoples.

2-Word of God

“Man shall not live by bread alone,
but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” (Matthew 4,4). Let we live the true life.
Gospel according to John chapter 20, verses 1 to 9« The Resurrection».
Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene came to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb. So she ran and went to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved, and said to them, “They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid him.” So Peter went out with the other disciple, and they were going toward the tomb. Both of them were running together, but the other disciple outran Peter and reached the tomb first. And stooping to look in, he saw the linen cloths lying there, but he did not go in. Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb. He saw the linen cloths lying there, and the face cloth, which had been on Jesus'head, not lying with the linen cloths but folded up in a place by itself. Then the other disciple, who had reached the tomb first, also went in, and he saw and believed;for as yet they did not understand the Scripture, that he must rise from the dead.

3- Meditation on Easter mystery

“From death to life”

We believe that Jesus is truly risen and our faith is based on His resurrection. Because if He did not rise, our
faith wouldbe vain. We died with Adam, but we rise with Jesus to live eternally with Him and in Him.
In his “Memorial of the ecclesiastical life” St John Eudes said: “one of thegreatest favorsthat Our Lordcando for us in this world, is to giveus what heloved mostin this world, his crossis the first objectof his love, after hisEternal Father. By his cross hedestroyed sinwhich is thesourceof all evil, andhe didall goodsthat are on earth and in heaven” (O.C. III, p. 98-100).

4- Final prayer

Jesus, with our baptism,
You dive us in Your death which is a death with the sin,
And You give us a new life, Your life of resurrected person.
You want us to be everyday resurrected people,
united in You to live in communion with God and our brothers.

Jesus, move away from me what separates me from you,
from all that is contrary with your love.
make mewilling to die in everything that is not You!

Let me know how topracticeevery day
my desire toloveyou, love you, praise youand loveall my brothers.
Risen justliveyour lifein me!

(O.C. II, p. 182-184)
