It is with profound admiration and great joy that I thank the St. Patrick's Community for your overwhelming outpouring of support for Get on the Bus. On our patio and at our exits last weekend, a total of $9,000 was raised! This, along with the many online donations and an endowment from a generous Carlsbad foundation is resulting in our parish sponsoring not only one, but 2 buses to the Federal Women's Correctional Facility in Dublin, CA.
Prior to last weekend there wasn't enough room for all of the families, but now every family can be accommodated, thanks to each and every one of you. Thank you for answering Jesus' call to mercy and making the Gospel come alive right here in Carlsbad!
